Born in Latvia, music has been a lifelong passion for Daiga. Originally from Latvia, the family immigrated to Canada in 2011 and quickly established a reputation for quality musical performance. In an effort to foster this same joy in her artistically inclined daughter Anna, Daiga began performing frequently at weddings, funerals, senior centres, and professional events. Over time, this pursuit developed into a overwhelming desire to convey the transformative powers of art to wider audiences through a professional venture that eventually became the ensemble DuoStube. Collaborating regularly with a variety of experienced musicians around Alberta, throughout the past 5 years Daiga has established herself and DuoStube as a musical courier of impeccable quality, professionalism, and reliability. She continues to present a vast repertoire of music tailored specially to each event, delivering consistently powerful and memorable performances that perfectly capture the ambience of any moment.
